ABOUT THE ROLE
A Darling Concierge connects, differentiates and elevates the guest experience by anticipating and uncovering what their guest requires often before they do.
DUTIES
- Manage performance and training of the Concierge team
- Lead and mentor a team of 14 Porters fostering teamwork
- Focus on city pride by developing relationships with luxury suppliers such as fine dining restaurants and experiences & educating the team
- Manage guest preferences to ensure thrilling experiences for our guests
- Ensure regular guests and VIPs are recognised
- Effective rostering of the team
- Oversee the daily concierge operations delegating tasks including the arrival and departure of guests, delivery and collection of luggage and valet parking
- Show presence in the hotel lobby area & respond to guest feedback
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Leadership experience in a luxury environment
- Experience managing performance in a large diverse team including formal documentation & meetings
- Drivers licence
- Knowledge of luxury experiences in Sydney
- Strong communication skills with a genuine and detailed approach to guest service
