Located within 12km South West of Brisbane CBD, work for a well established & LOW staff turnover store! This is the perfect role for a consultant who loves working in travel but wanting to be in a more autonomous but well supported environment.

My clients believe in sales through service & building a solid relationship by taking on quality enquiries & not just churn and burn quotes.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Working with mostly the professional to retiree demographic where they rely heavily on your expertise & knowledge to guide their holiday arrangements
• Using Galileo to book flights
• Local Store Marketing. Assist with organised activities to promote yourself & the business further
• Day to day administrative tasks & general ADHOC duties (you will not have to deal with reconciliation & accounts as the managers will be taking care of this)



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


- Experience in the Travel industry as a Travel Consultant (min 18 months)
- An approachable personality & down to earth demeanor
- A good attitude & open to learning & developing yourself
- Good travel knowledge - ideally through personal travel to combine with your experience in the industry
- Working GDS skills (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre), a conversion course will be provided for someone without Galileo knowledge
