An opportunity exists at a growing serviced apartment and property management company in Melbourne. We are a smaller company with forecast growth over the next 2-5 years and opportunities to grow and move up in the company during this time are extremely possible. The successful candidate will mould well into our small, energetic and enthusiastic team who are continually striving to improve ourselves on all levels and ensure each and every guest leaves the building having had a positive and memorable experience.

Possible Shift times will be rostered during office hours as follows (including weekends)

                Mon – Sunday      7:00am – 9:00pm

       

To be Successful in this role

  • The number one priority for this position - You must have a warm, friendly, welcoming, bubbly, energetic personality which is a vital quality to suit the company's goals and objectives. You must feel comfortable talking to people and making them feel well received from the moment they arrive
  • Flexible in your role - as we are a small, growing company, your duties may vary from day to day as required by management – Front desk duties, property management, small maintenance jobs, taking items/luggage to guest rooms
  • Your verbal and written English skills should be of a high level as phone reservations, emailing quotes and reservations to guests will be a large part of the role.
  • Accuracy of work, and accountability of payment verification, documentation, and processing of both cash and electronic deposits is essential. 
  • Good overall knowledge of computers including MS Office.
  • Conflict resolution skills - de-escalation and negotiation skills.

Beneficial skills required for this role

  • Hirum PMS knowledge
  • Previous hotel/front desk experience
  • Previous Concierge experience
  • Previous Property Management experience
  • Ability to speak a second language helpful but not essential

Salary Packages negotiable relative to experience and suitability to the position
