What we’d like you to bring to the table (get it?!)

  • A focus on delivering fresh, high quality culinary experiences
  • The talent and drive to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Chef's Trade Qualifications with at least 2 years+ experience in a similar role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen operations and exciting food trends
  • A passion for adhering to OHS, Food Safety & HACCP regulations

 

We are looking for highly motivated and all round awesome Chef who wants to showcase their appetite for producing exceptional food and demonstrate an understanding of the latest trends and healthy eating principles. 

We need you to be available Monday – Friday across a rotating roster of 10 on and 4 off, with shifts starting at 6.00am, 8.30am and 11.00am.

So, what would you be expected to do??

  • Produce incredibly delicious culinary offerings for our students and at our function/events
  • Prepare and present mouth-watering and innovative dishes for our boarding students
  • Maintain an awareness and present options for nutritional healthy eating
  • Champion allergy awareness
  • Influencing food costs via portion control, waste minimisation and stock control.
  • Uphold the fantastic customer focus at all times, responding to feedback positively and proactively
