We are recruiting now for a Lindt ambassador to lead our Miranda Café team towards success. It’s a great time to join Lindt as we continue our rapid growth and market success within the premium chocolate category as a key player within the Australian market over the last 20 years.

About the role

As a full time Café Store Manager of Lindt Café in Miranda Westfield you will:

• Work closely with your State Manager to maximise financial performance by achieving daily, weekly and monthly budgets.
• Hire, lead, train and manage a team of up to 30 staff to ensure all our customers feel like our special guest
• Champion the Lindt culture, putting your team, customers and community first, make it your mission to get to know them, understand what makes them tick and perform a great job that leaves everyone smiling.
• Energise the team through your exceptional leadership skills
• Grow your local area by building a local regular customer base and grow networks with local business community

What we are looking for

• Demonstrated customer focused experience in a restaurant, high volume fast paced café environment
• A positive, passionate and reliable team player willing and capable to work across all aspects of the store
• First class professional communication and interpersonal skills with a flair for great customer service
• Ability to engage quickly with customers and anticipate their needs to build a connection, create loyalty and grow your local Café/Retail community
• Ability to quickly develop great product knowledge and be confident to share this with our customers
• Ability to translate marketing plans into store and product displays
• Demonstrated cash handling experience with attention to detail and accuracy
• A friendly team player with patience, energy, enthusiasm and passion
• Neat, professional grooming befitting of a premium chocolate image
• Well articulated with a good command of English
• Valid right to work in Australia

Who you are

• Flexibility to suit our fluctuating business needs, including work on weekends,  public holidays and late trade
• Demonstrated leadership experience including training and delegating to a team of staff across all sections; kitchen, front of house and back of house
• Ability to take ownership of your store and drive sales through energizing your team, building a local regular customer base, and growing networks with the local business community
• Confident with Microsoft office programs and IT systems including time in attendance system
• Sound understanding of inventory management, ordering, receiving, stocktaking, with a creative talent for merchandising
• An organised approach, managing daily administration tasks in a timely manner allowing you to analyse, respond and drive your business.
• Able to build a strong rapport with your team and other levels of management and have the ability to work autonomously.
• Experienced in managing daily and weekly budgets, maximising the financial performance of the store, preparing rosters and achieving labour budgets
