Direct Hotels and Apartments is a fast growing serviced apartment & permanent rentals chain with complexes located throughout Queensland.

Direct Hotels - Sea Breeze Mooloolaba is currently seeking a reliable and customer focused Casual Guest Service Agent (GSA). Required for 2 days per week (approximately 19 hours with shifts from 8am to 6pm), you will be providing the hotel manager with their days off. Working a rotating roster with occasional Saturdays and Sundays, flexibility is expected.

Reporting to the Hotel Manager and/or Assistant Manager, this role will involve:

  • Working as part of a small team to achieve profitable Accommodation Operations.
  • Manage Check ins and Check outs 
  • Execute the settling and issuing of guest's accounts.
  • Confirm bookings with guests in advance and liaise with reservations team and management where required
  • Take reservation enquiries and bookings 
  • Manage data entry into RMS booking system
  • Occasional after hours phone coverage (compensation provided)
  • Ensure that guest requests are completed accurately and efficiently; focusing on guest needs as a priority
  • Assist with arranging and maintaining supplies such as linen, cleaning, room amenities and all other hotel supplies
  • Undertake basic ongoing Maintenance and Grounds Duties as required
  • Ensure that all standards are maintained, profitability is maximised and customer needs are met and adhere to all Direct Hotels policies and procedures
  • Work to help develop, protect and promote the company culture and morale.
  • Report to management regarding daily operations
  • Conduct room inspections and audits
  • All other duties as required by management

To be successful in this role, you will have unlimited work rights in Australia and be available to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends & Public Holidays.

You must also have experience in a similar role or environment.  You must possess strong communication skills and are confident in communicating with various stakeholders in the business. Experience in serviced apartments and strata properties is advantageous.
