About the business and the role
LaManna Food Group is a rapidly growing food production facility which produces exceptional quality food for the bustling LaManna Supermarket located in Essendon Fields.
LaManna thrive to provide outstanding food, service and a customer experience that make it the place to shop in the local area and in Melbourne.
We are seeking the services of experienced, highly motivated and passionate chefs of all levels to build our teams in a variety of different roles across our 7 day kitchen operation. Experience in a fast paced, high volume, quality production kitchen is essential as is a great attitude and willingness to learn and present great food. You must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency in Australia to be eligible. You will need a current drivers licence and access to a reliable car in order to access the facility.
We have full time and casual positions available for:
- Sous Chef
- Chef de Partie
- Commi Chef
- Food Production Operatives
• Minimum 2 years experience in similar roles
• Sound knowledge of food production facilities and HACCP knowledge is essential
• A strong understanding in stock control and ordering processes
• Positive and effective manner of communicating with all employees

Job tasks and responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to work within a rotating roster across a seven day week.
You will need to have exceptional skills in food preparation and cooking, with a creative mind and flare for perfection.
You will need sound understanding of HACCP.
Great teamwork skills are a must.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
Very good command of the English language is paramount
