Pizzeria e Cucina
located in Newport on Sydney's beautiful Northern Beaches.
Must be able to step in and cook our dishes, such as:
Cacciucco
Italian seafood stew cooked with prawns, mussels, scallops, vongole, mullet and marinara sauce.
Arrosto di agnello
Slow cooked lamb shoulder served with honey carrot puree, roast potatoes, wilted spinach and lamb gravy.
Pancetta arrostito
Slow roast pork belly on grilled fennel with caramalised apple and balsamic glazed pan juices.
Filetto con Funghi
Grilled eye fillet served on a roast potato with garlic and three mushroom beef sugo.
Key skill required:
- Experience in a similar role
- Cool trade qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
- Full understanding of OHS and HACCP regulations
- Excellent leadership qualities - demonstrated ability to motivate, teach and
- guide the kitchen team
- Develop and maintain contemporary menus to meet customers' expectations and budget
- Proven record in rostering and managing cost of goods
- Ability to work with strong front of house team
- Flexibility in works hours (this is a full time salaried position)
