The Role:
An exciting and unique opportunity has become available to join The Westin Sydney team as an Assistant Accountant / Income Auditor
As an Income Auditor, your main duties include but not limited to:
- Accurately and timely prepare Daily Revenue Journal and income audit package;
- Conduct various compliance auditing. I.e. Marriott Loyalty program;
- Daily credit card reconciliation and bank reconciliation;
- Daily GST reconciliation;
- Assist the AFC with processing the General Ledger month end tasks including preparing GL journals, bank reconciliation and GL reconciliations
The successful applicant will possess the following:
- Attention to detail, problem solving and accustomed to meeting deadlines;
- 2 years- experience in similar role is preferred;
- Advanced skills in MS Office applications. Knowledge of PMS Opera system and Sun is preferred;
- Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting preferred.
