PURPSE OF THE ROLE
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused Functions Supervisor to join our fantastic team based at Bundoora. Reporting to our Functions Coordinator, you will be responsible for the execution and delivery of the Functions including staff management during the event.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hard-working Functions Supervisor, someone with a flexible attitude who will gain exposure whilst working with some pretty cool people too!
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Typically be working Monday – Friday (with some weekend work).
- Hands on operation of a wide range of functions
- Liaising with and supporting the Functions Coordinator in the execution of all our functions
- Responsible for overseeing the running of function including a small team
- Maintain a customer focus at all times, responding to feedback positively and proactively
- Implementing great ideas and seeking opportunities for improvement
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years F&B experience with supervisory and function responsibilities
- Experience in a comparable environment as well as high volume experience
- You will have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Full understanding of WHS, Hygiene & HACCP regulations
- Excellent time management and organisational Skills
- Great presentation and exceptional customer service skills
- An eye for detail and the ability to problem solve
