We are currently looking for a Housekeeping Manager to support our Regis sites in the Southern region. This includes Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania. While your base will be at the Regis Armadale Head Office, there will be frequent travel interstate required in this role.

The Housekeeping Manager supports the facilities in providing a safe and clean environment for care recipients. In this role you will be is responsible for applying your technical housekeeping (cleaning, laundry & chemicals) knowledge in supporting the facility based housekeeping teams. This includes the continuous improvement of quality and resident satisfaction levels, auditing, coaching and training, and leadership of housekeeping teams through role modelling the Regis standards, expectations and required customer service levels. This role will include a hands-on supervision and a coaching component, to build team skill and capability.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Coaching and mentoring the house keeping team
• Ensure a hygienically clean, tidy, and presentable environment at the facilities
• Ensure storage of all linen belonging to the facility and Care Recipient’s personals is in a clean and presentable condition
• Ensure compliant chemical storage and usage
• Conduct training on new techniques / processes
• Coaching sites to best housekeeping work practices
• Support the National Housekeeping team in the delivery and coordination of state meetings, workshops, supplier demonstrations etc
• Cleaning/laundry equipment standardisation and recommendation of Capex requirements
• Housekeeping mobilisation of new facilities
• Contribution to the annual budgeting process
• Coaching site based auditors on the minimum cleaning standards
• Assist facilities in working through rectification reports

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Excellent mentoring and training skills
• Ability to influence change and drive continuous improvements
• Commercial focus
• Effective at building internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Energetic, positive and a team player
• Excellent computer skills
• Aged Care or Hospital experience preferable but not essential
• Front of House experience
• High level of administration and organisational skills

We are looking ideally for someone who has a strong cleaning background, preferably with past cleaning supervisor experience. We are looking for someone who has a passion to mentor facility staff to best practices.

As this role covers nation wide, there will be frequent travel required as well as interstate travel.
