Murray Mallee Training Company together with a prominent Kerang Club are currently seeking a flexible and customer focused Hospitality Trainee to join our team.
Throughout the duration of your traineeship you will be a valued member of the MMTC team and Hosted to a local business. We will assist you in every way through your employment journey. At the conclusion of the traineeship you will be rewarded with a Certificate III in Hospitality
Key responsibilities include;
- Preparing and dispensing beverages
- Attending to enquiries from our gaming patrons
- General Cleaning Duties
- Taking Customer Orders
- Providing fantastic customer service to all of our guests
- Part of your traineeship is to meet deadlines when completing course modules and bookwork
To succeed in this position, you will:
- Be at least 18 years or older
- Have a drivers license and reliable transport
- Be able to work 24 hours per week with the potential to increase hours to full time as you progress
- Be reliable and have the flexibility to work a variety of day, night and weekend shifts which may include public holidays
- Have a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate and a current Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) Certificate or the ability to obtain at your own cost before commencement of employment
- Have a Victorian Gaming License or the ability to obtain one at your own cost before commencement of employment
- You must be enthusiastic and possess good people skills
- To be eligible for a traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
