Babalou Wedding and Events is an ocean front events venue in the heart of Kingscliff and we are seeking the following superstars to join the team:
- A casual Function and Events Operations supervisor
- Casual Front of House staff
CASUAL EVENTS OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
About You:
- Deliver and execute our events from start to finish with exceptional customer service and leadership skills
- Be able to working in a busy fast paced environment and have excellent time management
- Be able to think quickly and troubleshoot any issues that might present itself
- Liaise with all key people and suppliers during the event
- Front of House experience as well as bar knowledge, be able to make cocktails and coffee and some wine knowledge preferred
- Professional and friendly personality, well presented
- Have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills with an eye for detail
- Able to lead by example and create a great team environment
- Be able to conduct staff training
- Work closely with the sales team and Events Manager with managing the day to day running of the events department
- Work Closely with the Kitchen team prior and be able to run the pass on the night
- Have exceptional product knowledge for all of venue, food and beverage offerings
- Have at least two years’ experience working in Weddings and Events
- Be able to work late nights across weekdays and weekends as events are held
- Conduct room resets after each event
- Writing a detailed nightly report
- Current NSW RSA
CASUAL FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF
About You:

- Be able to think quickly and troubleshoot any issues that might present itself
- Professional and friendly personality, well presented
- Experience in food service, carrying of three plates and trays
- Experience in drinks service, carrying of drinks, serving and pouring drinks & full table service
- Be able to work late nights across weekdays and weekends as events are held
- Conduct room resets after each event
- Current NSW RSA
