About the role

Atura Adelaide Airport is currently seeking a vibrant, social and motivated Bar Supervisor to join our ranks. We are in pursuit of an individual that will be the driving force behind a team that delivers exceptional experiences to our guests through attentive, genuine and passionate service. 

Our Bar Supervisor is the face of the hotel, someone who is bubbly, energetic and extremely positive, passionate, hardworking and FUN 

A Bar Supervisor is to:

• Lead, manage and monitor daily bar operations
• Follow and ensure bar policies and procedures are implemented
• Operating the bar, including coffee, cocktails production, along with beer and wine
• Preserve excellent levels of customer service, reporting and time management 
• Lead, inspire and train the bar team using your solid understanding of beverage knowledge
• Stock rotation and control
• Have a passion for creating innovative cocktails and keeping up to date with the latest mixology trends 
• Efficiently handle all guests requests and complaints
• Conduct daily briefings and reporting

Skills and experience

So do you have the Atura flair? What we are looking for:

• Must have a current SA RSA
• Hotels are your game, with 2 years experience in 4/5 star properties in similar role preferably 
• You'll have excellent customer relations, problem solving and time management skills.
• Strong cocktail making and barista skills
• Knowledge about wines/spirits/beers
• Very well presented and well spoken 
• Able to multitask and remain calm during peak service periods
• Strong knowledge of the hotel liquor licensing guidelines and SA RSA 
• Display a high level of professionalism whilst on duty
• Flexibility to work a 7 day rotating roster which involves various shifts including mornings, evenings including weekends and public holidays
