About the business and the role
The Hallam Hotel is a busy and popular venue located in the Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs. It's well known for its Live Touring Bands, Bistro, Sports Bar, TAB and Gaming.
An exciting career opportunity exists for a highly motivated Gaming Manager to join us in our new Gaming room
Job tasks and responsibilities
As the Gaming Manager you must have a current Gaming Licence, RSG and RSA. You will be responsible for the day to day financial operations of the gaming room.
To qualify for this position you must have proven success in a gaming manager role preferably with experience and knowledge of the Bally system within Victoria.
You must have impeccable customer service.
Willingness to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends & public holidays. We believe in creating flexible working roster to help create a work/home life balance.
Skills and experience
Applicants must have the following skills & experience;
- Ability to troubleshoot and tackle problems head on.
- Lead and manage, motivate and work well within a
team environment.
- Have a can do attitude.
- Ability to professionally supervise, train and direct staff.
- Follow hotel policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of current gaming legislation, regulations
and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Cash handling experience.
