Nashi are currently seeking an Experienced Cook or Chef for our Corporate Catering Business & cafe business in our kitchen located in Collingwood.
Our catering menu consists of sweets platters, cheese platters, sandwiches, hot finger food and salads.
You will be required to work Monday - Friday. Midnight till 8:30 am
The position of catering cook is working in a high volume environment with strict time constraints. Only experienced and qualified cooks will be considered.
We require someone with experience in high volume grilling , catering platters, general vegetable prep. Organised and reliable
Your responsibilities will include and not be limited to:
- Preparing and cooking Food to client specifications
- Following instructions from the head chef
- Having the ability to work unsupervised
- Complying with health and safety procedures
- Following company procedure
- Manage food production
- Control Stock levels
- Preparing platters of food in neat manner
- The applicant must have a sound kitchen knowledge for a high volume catering business
The position will require the applicant to work in tandem with the catering manager and head chef to service existing clients and grow corporate catering arm of the business.
