Aveo, Australia's leading retirement village owner/operator is seeking a dynamic and experienced Domestic Attendant to join our team at Aveo Durack, QLD
Please note: This is a part time position working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:00am to 12:30pm.
About the role:
Reporting to the Aged Care Manager, you will be required to assist in the provision of quality care services to residents within the community including provide a high quality cleaning service in residents units and community areas including cleaning floors, bathroom and kitchen areas, removal of rubbish and general housekeeping duties.
You will ensure resident's safety, security, dignity, privacy and well-being at all times, actively contribute to the promotion of best practice in OH &S and continuous quality improvement, and promote the culture and philosophies of Aveo Retirement Living.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of cleaning and laundry service provision
- Experience working in an aged care or retirement village environment will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated interpersonal
- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to work within OH&S and a continuous improvement environment
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work within a multi-tasking, multi-skilled work environment
- Trustworthy, pleasant and outgoing demeanour
- Reliable, flexible approach to rostering
- Police clearance or willing to obtain
- First Aid & CPR certificate
