The Position
We are currently seeking applications from experienced Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Advisors to work at one of our largest sites in remote Western Australia, FIFO 2:1 from Perth. This position offers a great opportunity for outstanding applicants who are seeking to progress their career within our global organisation.
Reporting to the Site/Project Manager and the Regional HSEQ Manager you will be responsible for the implementation of operational safety, health, environment and QA policies and systems, risk management and food hygiene. Importantly, you will be responsible for the delivery of effective HSE programs, compliance with the Compass Group Quality Standards and for developing a culture committed to these programs.
Key Duties
- Monitor the implementation of operational safety, health, environment and QA policies and systems
- Risk management
- Deliver effective HSEQ programs
- Incident investigations
- Ensure compliance with Compass Group Quality Standards
- Consult with site management and advise on HSEQ matters
- Ensure effective communication of HSEQ information across the site
- Maintain a culture committed to the Compass Group HSEQ programs
The Person
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessing
- Significant HSEQ experience, ideally in remote locations
- Knowledge of food safety principles (HACCP) and experience in the catering industry
- Detailed knowledge of applicable legislative requirements
- Strong report writing skills
- Computer literacy
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Manual WA Drivers License
- Ability to obtain a Police Clearance
