Manpower are currently seeking experienced and passionate Chefs to join our client across multiple mining camps within the Mackay/Rockhampton Bowen Basin.
About the Role
Servicing multiple mining camps within the Bowen Basin region you will require flexibility in order to work the on call rosters which include 7 & 14 days on. This casual ongoing role includes your accommodation and meals. You will be required to have a current Drivers Licence and Own Transport as all roles are DIDO only.
Duties:
- Prepare, cook and serve meals for 1000+ people
- Conduct Stocktakes and Orders
- Ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is upkept
- Work within Food Safety Policies
Skills and Experience:
- Hold Cert III in Commerical Cooking or higher
- Experienced in a la carte service
- Ability to work within a fast paced environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise
- High standard of customer service skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Current Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle
