Can you manage compliance against product portfolio? Then join our Supply Chain team in a Supply Chain Manager position.

The Role:

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, this role will see the successful candidate work closely with the Supply Chain department, responsible for the overall management of franchisee and operations support, supply chain transformation, supplier management, strategic management.

To be successful in this role, you should have/be:

  • Assist in the cross skilling and upskilling of the supply chain team
  • Be instrumental in driving increased satisfaction amongst Supply Chain's Customers
  • Manage queries and ZenDesk tickets from Franchisees and Suppliers
  • Lead commercial and contract negotiations with allocated suppliers for the Supply Chain Director to review and sign off
  • Conduct Business Performance Reviews, in conjunction with Director of Supply Chain, with suppliers and restaurants against set service level agreement
  • Manage slow moving and obsolete items and disposal of defective stock
  • Lead projects to source replacement suppliers or improvement of supply in selected categories where necessary
  • Support Director of Supply Chain to develop and manage Demand Planning processes
  • Understand and link COGS performance to Pricing performance
  • Execute stock levels are accurate for the GYG network and oversee purchasing schedules for importing stock
  • Continuous improvement of Supply Chain processes to support the growth of business

Essential Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Supply Chain Management Experience preferably with fresh fruit and vegetable market experience
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • High level people management and conflict resolution skills
  • Personable and approachable disposition
  • Ability to understand, interpret and explain cost analysis, forecasting, demand planning and transition planning reports
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Time & Project Management Skills
  • Advanced coaching skills, comfortable delivering feedback to all different types of people (age, experience, culture etc)
  • Strong computer/IT acumen including the ability to use Microsoft Office software (Word (intermediate), Excel (Intermediate to advanced), PowerPoint (Intermediate), and Outlook)
  • Ability to develop competence in various GYG systems including ERP systems, Micros/Task, Financial systems
