About the role
The successful candidate will work part time at the centre, preparing and cooking all meals for up to 68 children per day, Monday to Friday. You will be working in a commercial kitchen on the premises with all facilities required.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Prepare all meals at the centre each day, including baby pureed meals and bottles
- Menu Planning and Development
- Catering for children with allergies and additional needs
- Weekly shopping (online ordering)
- All cleaning required throughout the Kitchen
A successful applicant will possess the following skills & experience:
- Certificate in Food Handling
- Certificate in Menu Planning
- Understanding of the National Quality Standard surrounding Kitchen and food preparation
- Experience cooking meals for large numbers
