About the business
Bangalay Luxury Villas is the newest tourism offering on the South Coast, comprising of 16 luxury tourist villas, resort pool and restaurant "Bangalay Dining". Bangalay Dining's vision is to become an integral part of the local dining scene, as well as a revered destination restaurant, delivering accessible premium dining.
The dining component will be overseen by Thomas Johns, previously the executive chef/owner of Two Hatted restaurant Pello in East Sydney. Brent Strong, Head Chef of Bangalay Dining has a passion for locality and sustainability, a trait that he acquired when he trained under the guidance of Dave Campbell at the acclaimed restaurants Hungry Duck and Wharf Road on the South Coast.
The menus for all Bangalay Villa dining areas have been created by these two talented chefs, taking inspiration from the surroundings with a heavy focus on local and native ingredients.
We value our local environment and the produce it provides. We utilise cooking methods which celebrate our locality to offer our patrons an unforgettable contextual immersion experience. In our staff we are looking for people with a real passion for their trade and a genuine desire for lifelong learning.
Bangalay Dining will operate 7 days per week, for breakfast, lunch and dinner and will be catering to villa guests and the general public.

About the role
In joining the Bangalay team you will have the exciting opportunity to work closely with Head Chef Brent Strong, collaborating together to develop the menu and becoming an integral part of the success of Bangalay Dining from the beginning.
Nestled between 7 Mile Beach and the Shoalhaven Heads Golf Course, the brand new purpose built restaurant will provide a vibrant, professional and appealing work environment. The nature of the 7 day per week operation provides flexibility in rostering to encourage a work/life balance.
