• SYDNEY CBD location - working Monday to Friday only.
• 90k package - plus bonus targets
• team support from a large kitchen brigade.

Qualified Baker/Pastry chef

We are seeking a qualified and experienced BAKER with some pastry experience, to join our team.

At District Bakery, we work hard to create beautiful, artisan breads and pastries.

Experience in contemporary and classic baking - doughs, baking, dough shaping, and dough break machine. 

The Role:

•  BAKERY / PASTRY experience in a commercial environment (qualified WITH 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE)
• Commitment to producing quality products. 
• Have the ability to lift up to 25kg 
• Be comfortable with fast paced work. 
• FLEXIBLE rotating hours each week.
• Proficient in oven work (4 Polin ovens in bakey) and dough break.
• Maintain product integrity/consistency. 
• Ensure daily par levels are met. 
• Increase product lines.

You will have:

• Ability to work unsupervised at times
• Passion and creativity in the work performed. 
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of ingredients and techniques.  
• Ability to follow recipes and instruction.
