The Venue & Role:
One of the runaway success stories of the Sydney bar scene in recent years, The Soda Factory has thrived with a focus on ol' fashioned good times, an exceptional guest experience, quality food & amazing drinks …along with a busy live music schedule featuring local and international artists.
This is an amazing opportunity to take the helm of a market-leading venue that is excitingly positioned for even further growth.
You:
Well-accomplished in a bustling trading environment, you are a positive and passionate leader of high-performing & inspired teams; leading by example and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will have a proven history of exceeding targets, driving growth and being at the forefront of hospitality venue brand-trends.
Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, your proven ability to maximise profitability and take a hands-on approach to delivering the highest standards across all operational aspects of the venue is paramount – as are your creative ideas and the hunger to apply them within a dynamic hospitality group that prides itself on creative energy & unique offerings.
In addition, the ideal candidate for this amazing role with have:
- Strong financial acumen including P&L analysis
- Experience managing a team of 20-30 staff
- A 'hands on' approach, leading from the front by example.
- A desire to cultivate a strong culture within the venue
- Experience in managing security teams
- Cocktail & Food-operation experience
- A strong eye for detail across all facets of venue Operations
- An excellent track-record of Compliance & relationship management with council, OLGR & Police
- Previous experience at senior Operations Management, Approved Manager or Licensee level.
- The ability to motivate individuals to achieve beyond expectation.
- A passion for achieving excellence from a venue-brand perspective.
- The ability to understand the market and target opportunities, and contribute to head-office marketing campaigns, event concepts and promotions
- Experience of maintaining supplier relationships
- Experience of working with entertainment
