Cater Care are currently seeking a Weekend Chef/Cook to prepare healthy nutritious Homestyle meals for our valued residents in an Aged Care facility located in Kerang.
The key to our success is our people, your role in this environment is to provide friendly, attentive and efficient service to our valued residents through cooking a variety of nutritious Homestyle meals, preparation of ingredients and food service.
Part Time Saturday and Sunday 9.30am - 6.00pm

• Cooking nutritious Homestyle meals: fresh baked morning/afternoon tea; hot lunches, soup, evening meal and dessert
  
• Special diets and diet requirements including allergies/intolerances, supplements and texture modified soft & purees
  
• Washing up dishes and cleaning up after service
  
• Organised, willing to take charge and strong communication
  
• Work independently with limited supervision
  
• Monitoring & promoting kitchen hygiene & food safety practices
  

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
  
• Experience with simple homestyle bulk cooking 
  
• Excellent customer service and engagement skills
  
• Reliability to work every weekend
