Carillon Conference Management Pty Limited (CCM) is a full-service conference management company based in Brisbane. Established in 1985 the company has an impressive track record of managing conferences for industry, the professions and government.
We are seeking an enthusiastic person to fill an important role. This is a full-time position after successful completion of a three month probationary period. This is an 18 month contract position.
About the role
Delegate, Speaker & Program Management:
The main role of this job will be delegate, program and speaker management
Liaise with speakers/agents to book speakers and logistical arrangements
Creation of conference programs and scheduling of presenters using event software, directed by conference committee members
Provide speaker/author/review support
Liaise with clients/committees/delegates
Set up and manage online portals for registration, abstract submissions and management
Liaise with audio visual suppliers
Manage accommodation bookings with delegates and hotels
On-site event management support
Data entry and management
Client relations services:
Meeting management
Making appointments with meeting attendees
Updating and taking accurate meeting actions
Sending out meeting agendas and actions

Skills and experience
Experience:
Intermediate skills in Events Air, Events Pro or another event management software is preferable
Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel knowledge is a must
Comprehensive understanding of speaker/program management is preferable
