As a supervisor, you are provided with ongoing support and strategic direction to effectively grow your team’s skills and knowledge. This role allows you to stay connected to what you love by managing your own small portfolio of clients, as well as completing daily leadership duties that are vital to the everyday running of the office. 

Reporting to the Travel Area Manager, this position is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Lead your team and drive growth to achieve targets
  • Monitor and coach staff performance
  • Design and tailor travel packages to suit the needs of our members
  • Interview, recruit and train suitable applicants to build your team
  • Foster a positive and competitive work culture 

 

What are we looking for in you?

  • Previous managerial experience within the Travel industry (essential)
  • Proven sales experience, including coaching for sales performance
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to consult alongside supervisorial duties
  • Well-travelled individual whose product and destination knowledge stands out
  • Expertise in fares and complex itineraries
  • GDS proficiency – Sabre and Sabre Agency Manager required
  • Follow company procedures, account guidelines and customer service standards in the areas of: making travel arrangements, ticketing, Phase IVs, ticket exchanges and changes, and CRS and GDS productivity
  • Excellent communicator and professionalism
  • Work as a team member and assist other agents as needed in completing all functions related to servicing the client
  • Provide solutions to any travel-related problems clients may have experienced with arrangements
  • Provide solutions to client related problems and complaints
