About the Role:
The role reports to Head Chef and will be involved in a variety of outlets of the hotel.
It involves basic food preparation and cleaning of the kitchens.
As a team member at the heart of our business you will be expected to be able to have a passion for cleaning, food hygiene and organisation and a desire to learn and develop into a qualified chef.
You will be part of of a team which is standards driven with the intention to encourage return patronage and increase sales.
The roster includes 5 shifts per week on a seven day roster with a variety of breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
About You:
If you come from a background of restaurants, bars or hotels and have a passion for cooking, this role will offer you a development platform to expand your knowledge and grow your skills. An understanding of a variety of menus and food products, will be helpful to succeed.
You will be required to hold or obtaina food handler's certificate and a desire to gain a cooking qualification.
