Sunlover Reef Cruises travels daily from Cairns, via Fitzroy Island to the beautiful Great Barrier Reef.
We offer a complete Reef Tourism experience, with an award winning team providing coral viewing tours, Guided Snorkel Interpretive Tours, Scuba Diving and other optional tours & packages.
We are looking for an honest, reliable Deck Hand/Coxswain to join our award winning crew.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Coxswain Qualification and Elements of Shipboard Safety certificates.
- Ship handling experience and rope tying ability, along with sound knowledge of the marine tourism industry and Great Barrier Reef.
- Passion and positive attitude, with a focus on providing excellence in customer service and safety.
- Effective and efficient communication and time management skills.
- An understanding of Maritime & AMSA/MSQ/GBRMPA regulations.
- Associated marine qualifications will be highly regarded.
You will be required to work over a 7 day roster including weekends and public holidays.
