The Coast Bar & Restaurant located on the iconic Iguana Wharf in Gosford is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated restaurant manager  

Proudly known for its white sails and picturesque waterfront location.

The role: 

The Restaurant Managers roles are to organise and control the restaurant operations and ensure smooth functioning between food, entertainment and beverage while providing an exceptional dining service and customer experience. 

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

▪ Proven experience in the management of the operational and strategic functions of a resort food and beverage department or similar

▪ Experience with the management of food and beverage service, staff supervision, rostering, stock control, security, supplier management, food and beverage revenue analysis and promotions / marketing liaison

▪ Demonstrated management experience in a quality a-la-carte / fine dining restaurant service / high volume buffet service / weddings and events

▪ You will be passionate about fine food and quality wine

▪ Demonstrated high level of staff management and motivational skills

▪ Great time management skills and the ability to produce and manage a superior product

▪ Proven financial acumen and ability to provide departmental reporting as required

▪ Ability to drive business and cross sell resort opportunities to guests during their stay

▪ Demonstrated ability to be able to float between outlets, understanding and managing the various expectations within each outlet

You must have minimum:  

▪ Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

▪ Extensive food and wine knowledge – local and internationalImmaculate presentation paralleled with your service deliveryAbility to share your knowledge, train and manage restaurant staff

▪ Excellent communication and leadership skills Professional, personable and driven
