Looking for a new, innovative and exciting project? Come join us at ISH as we set about changing the way Melbournians think about Indian food! ISH is a Modern Indian restaurant opening soon in Fitzroy. Taking an inventive approach to traditional Indian cuisine, ISH will focus on local, seasonal ingredients and produce to create dishes with an Indian spirit. 

We are looking to hire enthusiastic and passionate chefs to complete our team. Our current openings are for: Head Chef, Chef de Partie, Commis Chef and Tandoor Chef. Previous Indian culinary experience is preferred, but not a prerequisite if the candidate has a general familiarity with the cuisine, an eagerness to learn, and a love for experimentation!

The successful candidates will have:

• A curious and innovative approach to food 
• The necessary trade qualifications
• Experience in high-volume restaurants
• Great communication skills
• The ability to produce high-quality, consistent food

Head Chef: 

• Past experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef.
• Minimum 8 years experience working with Indian/Asian cuisine. 
• Create an interesting restaurant menu.
