The ideal candidate will have senior experience at a National Marketing & Sales Manager level (also ideally had experience in Business Development) in the travel industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop and manage marketing communications channels that grow locally sourced enquiry in the AU market
- liaising with international stakeholders & marketing team to ensure success in migrating the marketing and communications tools to AUS
- Travelling internationally to get a feel for the business & understand the internal processes
- Hands on position - responsible for newsletter production, social media channels, PR and SEO objectives in AUS
- Work with the AU management and staff to ensure successful delivery of product and marketing initiatives
- Implementing of product and marketing objectives by working closely with the content and IT departments to ensure accurate website content
- managing the business development team

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
-Sound knowledge of offline and online marketing in the travel industry - digital is crucial and social media
-business development experience with a great network in the industry
-Established network with media agents in the community
-Management experience (up to 8 direct reports in this role)
-Experience in setting up marketing functions
-Extremely personable and can liaise with all types of personalities
-Extensive management experience
