We are looking for a passionate Sous Chef to assist in leading the culinary team within our production Pastry Kitchen.
This is an opportunity for you to work with some of the best chefs in Australia, learn new techniques and use modern equipment. You will be a key team player in the kitchen with strong leadership skills.
Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Pastry Sous Chef within a reputable F&B or restaurant operation with a desire to move to mass production
- Pastry production experience highly desirable
- Ability to offer strong operational leadership and motivation to a culinary brigade
- Support Head Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen management, including ordering, production schedules, budgeting and staffing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and physically able to lift up to 20kg
- The desire to succeed and further career
- Certificate in pastry and bakery (additional chocolate, sugar, etc. preferred)
