Cape York Peninsula Lodge is the region's premier accommodation and hospitality provider. We are a corporate Lodge with repeat clientele.
Based in the township of Bamaga, QLD (40 kilometers from the "TIP" of Australia) there is access to some of the country's most spectacular, fishing, four wheel driving, hiking, camping and outdoor activities.
The Lodge has recently been refurbished and is recruiting a dedicated individual looking to progress their career in a unique environment.
We are now seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager in a full-time capacity to join our handpicked, highly skilled team as a live-in position.
This position combines back-of-house managerial acumen with front-of-house operational nouse.
To be considered for this role, candidates will have:
- Three years' experience in a similar role
- Extensive barista and cocktail experience
- Experience across all facets of service - fine dining through to banqueting
- Well-developed communication and leadership skills
- Immaculate personal presentation
- Proficiency with IT systems
- Full comprehension of financial reporting
- Experience with supply chain management
- Responsible service of alcohol certification
- RMLV and Approved Managers certification (or willingness to obtain)
- A current Australian open driver's license
- Experience with live-in remote hospitality (preferred)
