About the role

We are looking for a Sous Chef, you should support the head chef and bring your own skills and influence to the kitchen to help the team and business grow. We are the leading venue in the area and offer a wide range of excellent meals produced in a fast paced, high energy kitchen. 

We appreciate honestly and care in the work that you do and with the team that you lead.

What you would be doing

The main things that you would be doing include:

  • Ensuring service is run and controlled to a high standard. 
  • Support the teams development and support the Head Chef.
  • Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation
  • Completing ordering and stock control 
  • Ensure that food items are prepared and cooked to the highest standard.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for candidates with the following attributes:

  • High standards of food quality and presentation 
  • Very organised and tidy person
  • Excellent team management skills 
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Creative, and passionate about food and providing high standards of food service
  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure
