About the role
Extraction Artisan Coffee is looking for an experienced chef to join our team. You’ll be joining a tight-knit group of food and coffee lovers who take great pride in providing exceptional customer service, specialty coffee and tasty, wholesome food.
You’ll love the challenge of a weekly special and will genuinely have a passion for consistency on every plate, even on busy days when the people only want bacon and eggs. We want you to be an integral part of the whole team, ideally with a real interest in coffee and business.
You will:
- Motivate the team day in, day out
- Be efficient, tidy and professional
- See the glass as half full
- Recognise individual skills and encourage them
- Be flexible
- Have experience with menu costing
- Maintain and order stocks and supplies
- Communicate with the owners about all things food and team related
You will contribute to the team dynamic and be motivated to provide exceptional breakfast and lunch food to our customers who you'll get to know via our open kitchen. We’re hiring on cultural fit. We are a fair work place with no place for egos.
