An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated and committed Duty Manager to manage our location in Blacktown. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has strong customer service and supervisory experience and wants to take the next step in their career.

In this challenging role you will be accountable for maximizing the growth and profitability of all facets of the station through focusing on excellence in customer service, vehicle quality and station presentation at a benchmarked company standard.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

  • Managing the shift
  • Exceeding and surpassing customer service expectations to ensure repeat business
  • Coaching employees on ancillary sales
  • Focusing on exceeding financial targets and KPI's in optimising revenue growth and maximising profitability
  • Assisting controlling station costs in accordance with set budgets
  • Ensuring damage policies are complied with 
  • Actively marketing and promoting Europcar services 
  • Preparing accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports on agreed financial, operational station and fleet performance measures.

To be considered for this position you should possess:

  • The ability to inspire and motivate a team as well as spearhead the continued growth and profitability of the station
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, preferably gained from an operations background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as intermediate computer skills
  • The ability to thrive under pressure and a resilient attitude 
  • Previous car rental experience is ideal
  • Experience in a similar leadership role
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Open and valid manual drivers license
