At Restaurant Associates we are dedicated to providing exceptional culinary experiences and professional business support services.  Our client site is a leading global investment bank based in the city and we currently have an opportunity to work with us due to a current employee taking maternity leave.

The Position

We currently have a spot on our team for a Corporate Receptionist who will be responsible for providing a professional, polite and efficient service. Based at a leading Australian financial institution, you'll own the reception operation along with assisting with service of the meeting rooms according to business demands. 

You will also have additional EA duties, offering support to two senior personnel such as diary management, meeting room bookings, travel arrangements and ad hoc duties as required. You, along with your colleague, will work together to ensure the Reception is covered from 8am until 6pm.  

This is a varied and busy role offering the right candidate an opportunity to join a bigger organisation, Compass Group Australia, with potential opportunities at our other sites on completion of this contract. 

A day in the life of:

  • Provide a warm, professional, friendly welcome to customers and clients at all times
  • Follow procedures with regard to both expected and unexpected arrivals, coordinating with in-house security as appropriate 
  • Book meeting rooms and in-room catering 
  • Register in-coming and out-going correspondence
  • Ensure emails, intranet and phone enquiries are managed in a timely manner
  • Manage and document client issues in the first instance
  • Offer EA support to allocated senior personnel

  • Experienced in a comparable reception/client service environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Impeccable personal presentation, with a smile to match
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • A genuine sense of hospitality, with a commitment to delivering platinum service
  • Discreet, ethical and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
