About The Company

This Iconic venue has been the talk of the town for many years and is a huge favourite amongst locals and travellers alike. Pumping out up to 200 meals in a sitting they are the place to go for a great feed with friendly service and cold beers. The Hotels Restaurant is renowned for high quality meals, generous sizes, value for money and an exciting menu. The Head Chef and Restaurant staff are proud to use the freshest of produce available. With a brand new Head Chef in the kitchen they have a great team culture and believe in having a bit of fun in this hectic fast paced environment while always ensuring customer satisfaction is the number one priority.

About The Role

My client is seeking a great team player to join their brigade of chefs in this busy pub. You will be fast on your feet and comfortable in all sections of the kitchen. They have a new Head Chef who is no stranger to this kitchen and who fosters excellent team culture while continuing to train and guide all the staff so they can develop their own skills and gain further experience. The ideal candidate will have had at least 3 years experience out of their apprenticeship and have been in fast paced busy a la carte kitchens in the past and have an excellent understanding of all sections of the kitchen with an excellent work ethic.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a fast paced busy kitchen
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery essential
  • A good understanding of all aspects of an a la carte kitchen
  • Confident & comfortable in all sections of the kitchen
  • A great work ethic and a friendly working demeanour with a team player mentality
