You will work with the Danes Sales Director to lead the Danes Training Campus in Brookvale and offer onsite customer support and training to our accounts.

About Danes Specialty Coffee

Danes Specialty Coffee is the AICA 2018 Australian Champion Roaster and specialty coffee supplier based in Brookvale. We source, roast, retail and wholesale specialty coffee for cafés and customers across Australia.

Danes Specialty Coffee Institute is our coffee training facility and has a reputation as a centre of excellence for specialty coffee knowledge.

Your role is:

  • Leading the Danes Barista Guild (DBG) and courses
  • Undertaking the planning, coordinating and delivering of training courses
  • Training and appraising students for Danes Barista Guild accreditation assessments
  • Working with Danes café accounts to develop coffee skills and quality delivery
  • Being an ambassador for Danes in all aspects of your role

Who you are:

You are passionate about coffee and sharing your love of the specialty coffee industry with others. You have:

  • Minimum three years barista experience, with café ownership/management experience an advantage with a vision to develop your training and customer support career
  • An enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated approach, with a flexible attitude suitable for a dynamic work environment
  • Thorough understanding of customer service in a café environment to share in training and customer support
  • Dynamic personality with the ability to engage people at all levels
  • Exceptional time management
  • Ability to meet set KPI’s for café accounts
  • Proven administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent computer literacy in Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent presentation
  • Well-spoken English
  • Good driving record
