Located at Kangaroo Point in Brooklyn, Estuary is a light filled, contemporary restaurant, Kiosk and event space that has become a popular weekend destination. We offer elegant, pared-back Australian cuisine in a spectacular waterfront setting overlooking the magnificent Hawkesbury River. With an emphasis on seafood, Estuary's menu is seasonal and simple, showcasing the finest and freshest produce, with each dish allowing the ingredients to speak for themselves.

Breakfast - weekends only
We’re looking for candidates with the following attributes:

We are seeking an innovative Junior Sous Chef and Commis Chef to join our growing team

Able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays

Experience in a similar role 1-2 years

Creative, and passionate about food and providing high standards of food service

Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure

Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards

Breakfast and Fryer experience
About the Role

Our kitchen is three years old, well equipped and has spectacular water views
-
The restaurant operates from Wednesday through Sunday - availability to work both days of the weekend (including Saturday evenings) will be essential, however you will always have two consecutive days off per week

Enjoy a good work|life balance in a beautiful, convenient location, just off the M1, halfway between the Central Coast and Sydney

The role is full-time with one split shift on Saturday
