Our iconic and well known WD Rose and White Lady Funerals located in Burwood are seeking an experienced people leader to manage a medium-sized, yet very busy and dynamic team.

As the Location Manager, you are actively engaged in the local community to drive local connections and a market presence. In this role, you will be results orientated and ensure the provision of the highest quality service to our clients, through wider collaboration and a one team approach. Additionally, drive operational efficiencies within your location through a sound financial management.

We are keen to hear from people who have

  • Proven ability to manage operations in finances, marketing, people management, assets, and facilities;
  • Experience in the effective  management of costs and driving performance
  • Excellent commercial acumen with a proven track record.
  • Solid experience in marketing and networking to the local community
  • Strong capability in people management skills, able to effectively manage a team and to attract, motivate, develop and retain high performers
  • Ability to build excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Full driver’s licence required

Due to the nature of our industry, this role requires regular on call and weekend work to meet our client needs, therefore applicants must be available to participate in an on-call roster. As the Location Manager you will also assist your team with funeral operations and work with our families, so being physically fit is also required.
