Moonee Valley Racing Club (MVRC) is one of Australia's most progressive and innovative Racing Clubs and multi-purpose entertainment venues - home of the prestigious Cox Plate. A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Legends; our largest licensed entertainment venues as a TAB Attendant.  The Legends venue is situated at a vantage point overlooking the racetrack, with excellent views of the City skyline and provides dining and entertainment options to raceday and non-raceday patrons.

The TAB Attendant is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the TAB venue in accordance with TABCORP wagering standards. The TAB Attendant is also responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the Sports Bar including opening and closing procedures as required.

Broadly, the role will be required to:

• Assist the Venue Manager in the daily function of the TAB including end of day and all reporting and compliance regulations
• Oversee the correct opening and closing procedures for all TAB casual staff
• Responsible for the control and monitoring of cash handling procedures and security requirements
• Ensure that all information including (but not restricted to) dividends, rider and tipping information, and scratching are displayed in a timely manner for customers
• Provide fast, friendly, polite and professional service in all areas, including bar service as required
• Educate customers on TAB operating standards, new products and procedures and both TAB and Legends promotions

To be considered for this position the MVRC is looking for someone with TAB accreditation, a minimum of 2 years experience in operating TAB terminals and is able to develop relationships both internally and externally through high level customer service. The successful applicant will also have to be available for nights and weekend shifts, such is the nature of the role.
