Monday to Friday
Do you enjoy working in a busy kitchen and enjoy a fast paced environment like the film industry?
We have day shift 7.30am – 12.00pm Monday to Friday available and a few extra hours on Thursday. There is occasional weekend work if production requires.
As the Kitchen Steward, you will be expected to assist with, stock rotation, dish washing and all general cleaning of our commercial and staff kitchens, ensuring the kitchen is consistently clean to comply with HACPP standards.
What you bring:
- Previous work in a commercial kitchen – 1+years’ experience
- Ability to work unsupervised as a kitchen steward
- Experience with commercial dishwasher machinery
- Ability to lift over 10kg
- Demonstrated high level of cleanliness and hygiene experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability – week days and weekends - some overtime
- Experience with safety procedures when using chemicals
- Ability to enforce work health and safety practices
- Immediate start for the successful applicant
