An exciting career opportunity exists for a highly motivated & proactive Head Chef to join the team at TB Hotels on the Gold Coast at our Waxys venue.

The candidate

We are seeking a candidate with an impressive culinary background in a fast service within Hotels or Restaurants. As well as passion for food and innovative menu design, strong organisational skills you will need to possess a hands on approach.

You must:

• have a high level of technical skill and culinary range to support creative menu planning and production processes
• understand, implement and maintain high standards befitting the premium concept
• have a strong work ethic, taking pride in the quality and consistency of the food you produce
• be a responsible, flexible team collaborator with quality communication, management and interpersonal skills
• have the ability to manage food and wage costs
• have excellent time and project management skills
• be capable of taking the company forward with a constant need to be market receptive
• have professional grooming and presentation
• have relevant Trade qualifications and Food Safety Supervisor certification.
