Located in Dalby, approx 80kms from Toowoomba.  Immediate start.

The successful applicant will display an eye for detail and a love for food is a must to maintain a culture of excellent service and quality.

This role is ideal for a reliable and motivated hands on qualified Sous Chef.

Skills and attributes required -

• A minimum of 2 years working in a similar role
• Be able to create seasonal menus and daily/weekly specials
• Cater for functions and general service simultaneously
• Provide food and menu costings
• Ability to work as part of a team, but also independently during quieter periods
• Attention to detail, presentation and quality is essential
• A creative flair is essential
• Ability to maintain consistency with the quality and presentation
• Work hands on including prepping, plating, and kitchen cleaning
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent self-presentation and ensure all food safety regulations & kitchen hygiene are followed
• Ensure OH&S requirements are adhered to
• Must have a genuine passion for the industry and for food.
