Our client, seeking out a strong General Manager to take the reigns of this large hotel just outside Melbourne CBD. This hotel site has large F&B offering as well as multiple functions space and small to medium sized rooms .
 
Reporting up to an Area General Manager as the General Manager for this site you will be tasked with managing all aspects of the hotel from front of house to back of house. You will have the ability to manage and develop staff across the business and have the foresight to implement appropriate policy and procedural changes to grow the businesses and improve the overall customer and staff experience.  Pulling on your strong community ties, existing supplier relationships and the proven ability to translate this into business outcomes, you will see the recognition for your work.
 
To be successful in this role you will have been engaged in a similar position, you will have a proven background as a General Manager across large Hospitality venues. 
You will display a high level of commercial acumen, a passion for hospitality and possess the ability to develop relationships across all levels of the business coupled with the ability to manage and train staff to the highest standards.
