Cleaning Services are committed to providing a hygienically clean and safe environment for all individuals at Fiona Stanley Hospital. We understand that high standards of cleanliness are essential to patient care. Our goal is to respond to all cleaning requests in a flexible and timely manner. Our cleaning teams are competent and trained in safe and effective cleaning methods. We pay close attention to detail and always recognise the importance that cleanliness plays in patient care in promoting a healing environment, conducive to well- being.

Reporting to the Hospitality Experience Co ordinator you will be responsible for but not limited to: 

• Undertake cleaning tasks as required to maintain service delivery
• Carry out housekeeping and/or domestic tasks as required
• Advise helpdesk on any defects within own area of responsibility
• Excellent customer service to our patients, clinical staff and the general public

To be succesful in this position you will have-

• Availability to work shifts 7 days per week / 24 hours a day (if you are unable to work a minimum of 3-4 shifts per week please do not apply)
• Ability to take direction and follow set processes
• Good communication skills
• An aptitude towards customer service and patient care
• The ability to use hand-held technology, as tasks and duties will be delegated using your individual PDA's
• Previous experience in cleaning will be preferred, but is not completely necessary

Please Note:

• We are hiring for Casual positions only - no guarantee of hours however you must be flexible with your availability
• You will be required to undertake a police check and a pre-employment medical with a drug and alcohol test as part of the recruitment process
• This position will require you to hold a working with children clearance for the duration of your employment.  This clearance is at your own cost and responsibility
