Events Coordinator

Create Consultants is a creative, contemporary catering and events company. Still relativity young in the Sydney market, but quickly growing into a significantly large player in the events, meetings and conference market in Sydney.

We are now looking for a super star with passion, drive and experience to work with our Sales & Events Team.

As the Event Coordinator at the Australian Museum, you will form great relationships with our clients and partners and continue to develop your industry relationships as the face of Create.

Your role will be to work alongside the Sales Manager to help acquire new clients, retain existing clients and expand the Create brand into the Sydney market. You will also be responsible for creating the details for our operations teams for events such as seated dinners, conferences, cocktail parties and meetings.

  • A foodie at heart who knows Sydney events, venues and local industry leaders,
  • 1 -2 years Event/Catering Management experience
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Know how to create customer experiences that are remembered and talked about,
  • Have an outgoing and friendly personality with a sense of team spirit, confidence and humour.
  • A self-starter, able to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and Priava or similar.
