The opportunity:

As the Front Office Manager of Spicers Guest House, you will be a hands-on leader who delights in providing guests with bespoke experiences. Engaging and driving your team to ensure seamless operations will be integral to delivering an exceptional guest experience – each and every time.  A new and exciting opportunity to help get this new property off the ground and launch your team and Guest House towards success.

Reporting to the General Manager of Spicers Guest House, you will be responsible for ensuring the accommodation is delivered consistently and to the highest standard; rostering; and business reporting. There is also an expectation for this role to act as a Duty Manager in the absence of the General Manager. Potential also for this role to progress to the role of Assistant General Manager for the right person!

To be considered for this role, you will also have:

• Hands-on experience at a luxury property;
• A passion for good food and wine and providing bespoke experiences for guests;
• Good business acumen, including rostering;
• Team management experience – the ability to drive and manage performance;
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written;
• A proactive approach and positive attitude;
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required;
• A current RSA;
• .… and most importantly, a genuine passion for ‘everything hospitality’ – good food, great wine and awesome experiences!
